I need to know if Apple reports my income to the IRS. If so, I'll need to include a page on why I am not reporting the income.
Does Apple report my income to the IRS?
In the past, reporting was based on an annual minimum revenue of USD$20k, as I recall.
Ummm....you should report the income yourself whether or not Apple reports it to the IRS. To do otherwise is against the law.
Hello StevenHu,
You must report your income to the IRS so that you can pay the appropriate tax on it. How you report that is based on how your business is structured. I suggest you contact an accountant and ask. If you are lucky, you might avoid a $10,000 penalty. It is April 7th already. If you haven't done all of that, start now. Go ahead and add up all of your income and pay the tax on it. You can get an extension to file your taxes, but not to pay. It is safer to pay based on an estimate and then take your time with your accountant and do the paperwork properly.
