Hello everyone, I'm a iOS develpoer from China. These days I found there are many Apps in AppStore which contents are not related with their title, screenshots, or description. They just intend to deceive users to improve the downloads, and show ads to earn some money. But I'm wondering how does these kind of Apps pass the review. As far as I know, these kind of Apps are all provide two localization, both Chinese and English. The Chinese metadata is not related with the App's contents, but the English metadata is accurate. Is there some way could let they pass the Chinese metadata review?
Let me show a example. Here is an App about a little game, it's English title is:
Little yellow car- it's a funny game.
But the Chinese title means it could help users to connect the public wifi without the password.
And the screenshots are also different. See the pics blow:
The App's title and screenshots can not be modified after the state changed to 'in review' or 'ready for sale'. If they provided the misleading contents before review, why App reviewer didn't notice? Or is there some tricky way could let they just pass the review or change the contents after reviewing?
