Can our company have more than two teams (Standard and Enterprise)?

I work for a large company with several departments, a few of which have iOS apps they use and/or maintain. The department I work in is increasing its mobile development efforts and staff considerably. The company has a Standard account and an Enterprise account, however these are used by several departments of the company, and there's very little coordination or communication between departments, resulting in some confusion and problems.

Is it possible for the company to have additional teams created for my department to manage only our signing resources, but still have the same company name show up in the App Store for apps from all teams? In other words, 2 Standard teams, and 2 Enterprise teams, with apps in the store from both Standard teams all listed as created by "My Company, Inc.". I hope this question makes sense.

As long as the apple IDs are not conflated across accounts, those teams should be able to act accordingly.

The (company) name displayed in the store is account/program, not team, based.

Note I'm using Apple's definition of 'team', so if your usage is different, we may be talking about different examples/scenarios.

Again, those are accounts/programs, not 'teams'. Teams are account/program specific, if anything, so.... BTW, Apple refers to Standard as 'Developer' program now, assuming you mean being used for app store distribution, where both individuals and companys (LLCs) can participate.
