That's just a guess…
- Xcode 15 was released on 9/18/2023
- it became mandatory on April 29
- which was announced on Feb 6
- Xcode 16 was released on 9/16/2024
- So, if the same planning applies, we should have an announcement pretty soon (just before next week event ?)
- with a deadline by end of April 2025
But that's just my personal guess, we'll see.
In such a case, the best for you would be either:
- if you need to publish in the next 2 months, plan to have a version ready on Xcode 15 by mid April, just in case
- or switch now to Xcode 16 (that should not require major changes to your code anyway).
