Code signing Issues - need help please.

Not sure if this is relevent at all but...

In examining the new certificates I find that while the distribution cert has the same values for User ID Common Name & Organizational Unit only the "Organizational Unit" value matches that value in the dev cert. The other 2 values are different.

Did you create a new apple ID password yet?

Did you delete the old archive for that app?

Can you build to a device?

I am using the same apple ID and developer account that I always have if thats what you mean.

There are no old archives of this app on this particular machine. This would be the first IPA exported on this computer or with this copy of Xcode.

When I run a build with a particular simulator selected the build succeeds but the simulator does not open.

When I run a build to a connected device I get:

No codesigning identities (i.e. certificate and private key pairs) that match the provisioning profile specified in your build settings (“XC Ad Hoc: com.fulltimeartists.Graffwriter”) were found.

I noticed the the simulators may not have been downloaded so I am downloading them now. It is however much more important that I can build to devices and archive ipa files & at the moment I can't do either of those.

But did you update/change the password for that account yet? Get that done right away if not.

Ok, I'll reset that as soon as these downloads finish. I have been able to get a successful archive to export. Still can sem to build to a device. The build succeeds, no error message, but xCode never reports that it is running on the device & the app never loads to the device.

I suppose this could could be because I'm in the middle of installing all these simulators right now.

Hello I'm no profecional on apple computers I just do what I can to survibe on this world,

at your question "MAYBE" on my own words, on my own ideas I don't want to cause comflite with any body I just want to expres my ideas maybe help you.

maybe you have some kind of virues I know that apple don't have virus but lets call like that,

so times on my computer I want to do things and looks like some one is controling my computer,

so I desconect the cable or vires I clean the history and Recent Iteams on the desk top I destroy any file my pc is encryted ( there is too many ways that some one can atack your pc one of them that I see when I use my computer and then I stop using I alwasy disconect the internet or turn off the vireles when I come back I just conect the cable or turn on the vireless but when I turn on the vireles or take out the cable internet I always clean history search top left of the screen.

so If I was you, I will do this disconect cable internet or turn off win fi

then I make another user account with administrador then I delate the account that I was using so if there anything hide (hacker) on this account disapert,

that's what I do on Apple, on my windos pc I get a big hammer long time ago and destroy it.

NOW remember I'm not profecional on computer, before any body do this check firts if you will not loss any program or information that you need it,

my brother have some kind of problem similar the one you have on his apple pc I told him give me your laptop apple I did same thing boooom fix the problem now he don't have problems if they star gething inside I will do same thing very easy, How did you know if some one is inside and is playing with you.

I want to learn xcode but I don't know if I will do this for living I stock just for the bigining come this error:

Unable to create a provisioning profile because your team has no devices registered in the Member Center. Please connect a device, enable it for development, and add it to the Member Center using the Organizer.

I just want to use my devices but apple ask me allot of steps I tried but I get loss and I don't know if I have to fill out all.

on you tube I see some videos teach xcode but they have register with apple so I can't followe them if I'm not register.

I register, but then I have the error that I mention is just the firts step when you star using xcode, I don't know if I have to fill out all the step of if I can just fill out some I just want to use my device,

I'm having the same problem. I am not using an ad hoc profile at all, I never have! I'm so annoyed with the BS from apple. I already spent hours, just a few days ago, jumping through all their hoops to get my certs and beta testing working and now I'm at a complete standstill because the upgrade to Xcode 6.4 is junk.

I'm in exactly the same situation. Upgraded and now at a stand still. I even tried to delete my apple id from Xcode, and now it won't let me add it back in. Seriously frustrating. I am at a dead stand still. My customers are not happy. Neither am I.
