When sending out invites to external testers, will they have to download test flight first?
External testers
They don't have to download Test Flight before you send them the invitation.
If they don't have Test Flight installed when they receive your message, they should get directed to install Test Flight if they try to use the invitation. (Disclaimer: It's been a while since I've done the process on a new device...)
