iOS 11 adds a "mutedStandard" map type, which is supposed to be "a street map where your data is emphasized over the underlying map details."
I tried setting my map type to it, and nothing visually happened. Map looks the same, shows the same number of place markers, labels, etc. There's no mention of this feature being broken in the Release Notes that I can see.
Is it actually broken? Is it doing something subtle I'm not seeing?
