Install works fine, but locks up rebooting(circle with slash comes up)....
I'm using Command-R to reinstall. Tried from Time-Machine(same issue - works on install then locks on restart), now trying from new install....
Anyone having luck on iMac/fusion drives? I did select AFS, maybe I can turn that off after reinstall(before reboot)....
Not sure if this applies to you but from the 10.13 release notes:
"Some iMacs with 3TB Fusion drives and BootCamp may be unsupported for use with APFS. "
I have the same issue, but mine starts to the login screen then it reboots, and it stays in that cycle.
However in safemode everything looks like it is working, but is extremely slow.
I wonder if this has anything to do with the APFS or just the beta in general.
Late 2012 27” iMac 3TB Fusion. HS did install but was not usable in my normal account. Various actions caused a log-out. For example clicking on anything in Menu Bar. Tried a test admin account and it is usable. In my case, the installer must have ignored any attempt at the new file system because it shows HFS+.
