Did iOS 9 kill my screen?

My screen on my iPhone 6 quit today. I've troubleshooted it as far as I can, and I've even talked with Apple Support (who for some reason wouldn't troubleshoot over the phone, and only wanted to have me visit the local Apple Store). I can hear sounds and initate Siri, but that is about it.

iOS 9 has been having verious UI problems and multiple issues with hardware for my iPhone, so is it possible that iOS 9 killed my screen? I've a second phone on my account, never ran iOS 9 (and I don't really ever run betas on it). It is still running perfectly fine.

Anyone else have similar problems? I'm restoring my phone to iOS 8.4 (my iPhone Backup is having issues because it corrupted at some point :/) for troubleshooting at the Apple Store.

The people at the Apple Stores are not able to do anything with devices that have had beta software installed.

"I've troubleshooted it as far as I can.."

Exactly what have you done?

I had forced restarted it twice (verified by trying to access Siri since I could still access it), I tried accessing it through iTunes to see if there was anything I could do. Kept telling me it was corrupt. (I decrypted my backup, and it forced a fresh backup. This resolved the corrupt error messages). I've searched throught the Apple Docs for anything more, and there was one or two items listed there to try. After that, that is when I called Apple Support and downloaded iOS 8.4 for loading.

I just did another force restart, and it restored the screen (forth attempt as I was trying to get around Find My iPhone). I'm seriously debating on removing iOS 9 still -,-'
