Finder Crashing on Most Interaction

Hello!

I'm having a slight issue with the macOS 10.13 Beta. Specifically, whenever I try to interact with the finder (move a file, right click a file, do a selection), the Finder stop responsing and goes to the beach ball infinitely. The only fix is to relaunch the Finder and start the cycle over again. This is extremely annoying, as I can't do anything with files. I'm using a late-2014 Mac mini using macOS Version 10.13 Beta (17A264c). In addition, this also occurs with Safari if trying to upload a file, it will crash Safari and then require a force quit.

Thanks for any help anyone can provide.

I am having the same problem. So I went to disk utility and I can't even successfully run First Aid. I get the message that I have 2 drives with the same name. So, I start in recovery mode, try first aid. It tells me I should try to back up my data, that First Aid cannot be run.

So I tried to reinstall the OS. Same issue. Not sure what my options are, except to format the drive... Hoping it doesn't come to that.

BTW.

iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2014)

Processor 4 GHz Intel Core i7

Memory 32 GB 1600 MHz DDR3

My hard drive info :

Not sure if my drive size/type is part of the issue or not.

I didn't think to run First Aid. My First Aid completes without error, on both Macintosh HD and the Apple HDD. So I'm not sure, but at least someone else is having the issue. Unfortunately, formatting the drive won't work so much for me, because I made the oh-so-stupid mistake of installing it on my main computer (save the laughter). I'm trying to get a fix WITHOUT formatting the drive and reinstalling.

Well, the disks are completely different. I'm using an Apple HDD using the HFS+ structure instead of your SSD with APFS. I'm going to move all the data off my computer and reformat the drive as APFS, most likely. Just going to make sure there isn't a better solution.

So I'm having a simliar problem. My Macbook Pro will lock up and crash with most interaction with Finder. If I click on the Finder icon in Dock or taking too long to save a file in the Save as pop up window. It will crash and reboot.

Well, if you mean the computer by reboot, my computer doesn't do that, it just crashes the given application. The file explorer will open when selecting a file from within an application, but when you select to choose it, the application crashes. Right clicking files, making a drag selection, moving files, just any interaction will crash the Finder, requiring a relaunch, and the issue still persists. I have been able to run First Aid, with it finding no errors.
