iOS 8.4 will not download/install

I've tried to update my iPhone 5s with iOS 8.4 GM, from the latest public beta release. The over-the-air update has frozen at 'update requested' for a couple of days now, but when i plug into iTunes and try to update from there, it's telling me that I have the latest software.


the iPad general release was fine updating from the beta, but for some reason the iPhone isn't having any of it. Other than a restore, which I'm happy to do, does anyone know of any other fixes for this?

Have you tried doing a hard reset of the iPhone by holding the Home and Power button simultaneously.

What version is listed in Settings > General > About? If a hard reset doesn't work, try turning wifi off and on again. I know these seem like simplistic fixes, but they've been successful in similar situations.
