App Store crashes when attempting to load updates tab. Anyone else experiencing this?

Everything has been fine up until yesterday, (June 18th), and since then I haven't been able to load updates.

It’s started for my yesterday too, what seems pretty strange is that all 3 of my test devices sseemed to get it at the same time. Can’t even open up the AppStore without going to spotlight and searching something and clicking search in AppStore.

Not sure if this helps anyone else, but my new iPad 10.5 can get updates just fine. It's my iPhone 7 Plus that isn't.

My iPad Pro 9.7" has started having this problem, but my iPhone 6 hasn't yet. They both can still get and install updates (with automatic download for updates enabled), I just can use the Updates pane of the App Store app on my iPad Pro.

I suspect it will be an app with a description or name that is triggering some kind of display bug.

I'd guess the same if it isn't widespread - my iPhone 7 Plus is crashing the App store on launch, and has been doing so since the morning on June 19.

Both iPhone 7Plus and iPad Pro 10.5 can not open App Store from clicking the App Icon. You can open the App with Force Touch by clicking Search but again it crashes when you clirk Update - so suspect it is an issue with Apple servers and not your device.

I am not experiencing this on my iPhone 7 nor on my iPad Mini 2. I’ve been testing iOS 11 since the beginning and no issues on my App Store on my devices. I once had an issue on App Store which was that it wouldn’t load, but I rebooted my device and it got fixed. Try doing the same.

Sorry tried that, several times, I believe it is an app name, update description, or icon, that is causing the crash, as it only affects some people, on any device they may have the affected app installed on. I've been trying to isolate which app it was, but have been unsuccessful in identifying it so far.

Not sure what the issue turned out to be, but my issue resolved on two iPad Pros running iOS 11 around 02:00 Wednesday AM EST.

I'm up and running now too :-)

I've got the exact same problem since I installed the beta 2 on my iPad pro 9.7 :/. Does anybody have an idea of how I can bypass this problem ?

Ok so I found a solution here is what you have to do

• Launch appstore
• Click as fast as you can on an element of the tab bar (except the updates one)
• the app will crash
• relaunch the appstore, it should launch on the tab that you tapped
• Don't go on the update tab ever again 🙂

i tried to install updates of my apps using the purchased view (that you can access by clicking on your profile) but bad luck it didn't work, I updated all my updatable apps in this view, but still have 4 apps to update on the update tabs 😟.

But Hey I can use the rest of the appstore again 🙂
