Since loading IOS 11 Beta 2 (15A5304i) I am unable to charge my iPad Air 2. It displays the "This accessory may not be supported message". I have tried a couple of different lightening chargers to no avail. A hard reboot did not work either.
iPad Air 2 won't charge
I am having the same issues with my iPad Air 2
hhas a same probelm, try charging using a compute or eaqual device like video game consol. I have an iPad mini 2
I'm having the same issue with air 2. I did find a workaround. Do a hard restart with the lightning cable attached. Then when you are at the home screen unplug and plug it back in. It may take a couple of attempts but don't give up it will eventually work. Good luck
I found another work-aroud.
Attach lightning cable to iPad, unplug the wall outlet (while iPad being attached via lightning) and plug wall outlet in again.
Works 100% of the time here.
Same Problem here
This works for me every time:
1) Plug the lightning connector into the iPad.
2) Then plug the USB connector into the wall charger.
If I do this in reverse it pops up with "This accessory may not be supported" and it won't charge.
I have experienced the same issue yesterday, checking with a USB power meter the iPad stops charging as iOS 11 loads.
work arounds listed on this thread did not did not work in my case, however, putting th iPad into recovery mode allowed charging, used recover mode twice (30) minutes and iPad has been fine since updating to beta 2.
Same issue here, your fix seems to work. Thanks!
i have this problem also, and i have to plug it into battery pack then plug into main charger,
This worked thanks so much I was getting frustrated! 🙂
