My phone was very hot this morning and the battery life had gone down fast. Did a reboot and am charging and we will see.

iPhone 6plus has the same problem. Seems to be “Display related “ as running processes with the Display off do not produce the overheating.

Can confirm same issue with iPhone 7 Plus.

Stopped iCloud Photo Library update and background app refresh doesn't seems to make it better. Still hot.

Btw I just set the phone into Low Power Mode and it seems to help lower the temperature.

Please give it a try so we can confirm this trick will indeed help temporarily solve the problem.

Yes very. And now I am stuck in boot loop! This started while my phone was in sleep mode, not charging. I just noticed the white Apple screen coming on. And off. And on. And..... Cycles about every 15 seconds. Any ideas?

Yes, even my iPhone 7. Has anyone notice that it happens using Safari?
