5GB file limit for all hosted content?

Hello,

I'm in the process of uploading all the in-app purchases content for my soon to be released app.

Each package is somwhere around 100MB and up to 900MB, and I have currently 25 of them.

While uploading them earlier through Application Loader, I hit the ITMS-4162 error, stating

the maximum size of all in-app purchases metadata is 5GB.

This limitation is nowhere to be cited in the Application Loader or In-app purchases guide/documents.

I was able to upload 24 out of the 25 files, but some of the in-apps are still marked 'Waiting for Upload",

after a couple of hours.

I'd like to know if that's an Application Loader bug or a real limitation Apple has put.

Thank you greatly for any clarification on this. This is critical situation and I need to act fast.

Hello,

I just checked the status of my in-app purchases and some of them are still marked Waiting for Upload.

The packages were successfully uploaded yesterday so I think iTunes Connect stopped validating them

after reaching the 5GB limit, internally.

An official answer of that limitation would be more than welcomed.
