WebGL2 functionally inoperable

Seems to be the same on Safari Tech Preview. They both throw shader compiler errors

unsupported shader version

even after including: #version 300 es

I can't imagine they'd ship WebGL2 without actually implrementing the WebGL2 shader compiler. Is there any way to enable ES3 shader compilation?

Thanks,

Seth

I was trying to get beta2 ios11 but I couldn't ..does anyone else have the same problem???

I've tried beta 2 as well. Still doesn't work. Can someone on the Safari/WebKit team come in to answer this? I actually took a look at the WebKit source and found the section where the error is thrown. I'm hoping that it's an easy fix. I'm confounded how WebGL2 support was included when it doesn't loook like it will run any existing WebGL2 test sites or compile WebGL2 ES3 shaders.
