Apple Developer Program Enrollment – Identity Verification Pending for Over 2 Weeks

Hello,

I am writing to ask whether this delay is normal or if anyone has experienced a similar situation.

I enrolled in the Apple Developer Program and completed the annual payment on February 4, 2026.

On February 10, I received an email requesting identity verification. I uploaded the front side of my ID on February 11 through the official verification link.

Since then, I have not received any confirmation or status update.

On February 15, I contacted Developer Support through the website. The support page indicates that responses are usually provided within two days. However, I have not received any reply yet.

I also chose the call option and was advised to wait a few more days. On February 20, I followed up again under the same case.

As of today (February 25), my enrollment is still pending and I have not received any update.

Has anyone recently experienced a similar delay in identity verification? Is this timeframe considered normal?

I'm having a similar problem. I used the Apple Developer app to attempt to register my Apple ID for the Apple developer program and it tried to do an automated identity verification, asking me to hold my driver's license, and then my passport to the camera, but it was almost impossible to get a good image because I needed to hold it up to my Studio Display, try to frame it in the guide lines, and then click the small capture button. Eventually it said it wasn't able to verify my identity and just left me hanging. I tried opening an Apple Developer Support case and received a response saying "We can’t verify your identity with the Apple Developer app or provide further assistance with the Apple Account for Apple developer programs." For a company focused on user experience I was shocked that they just said, "Sorry, we can't help you" So, who/what CAN help me. I've been stuck in limbo for over 3 months now. I've tried registering again and I immediately get a "we can't register your account" message as soon as I enter my Apple ID, so I think it has some kind of account identity verification hold on it or something. It's extremely frustrating, and I can't seem to get a hold of anyone that can tell me what's going on.
