does anyone know why app store is doing this? all screenshots have uploaded. i’ve signed out and back in, deleted all screenshots and reuploaded, allowed it all night, and now i’ve cancelled the submission. yet when i try again it still says the same thing.

it worked before, but there was something they said i should remove from the screenshots, and since i removed it i’ve been stuck here.

After you upload your images, before you hit 'Submit for review', double check all your images and screenshots in all the various shapes and sizes you have uploaded under "View All Sizes in Media Manager" - typically an error should show up there shortly after uploading. It may not be immediate so let them sit there for a few minutes and then double check that they all look error-free.

Hi,

If you are using PNG files, it seems that screenshots with alpha channels (transparency) can fail to process correctly. This may be why the “uploads in progress” message stays visible even though the images seem to have uploaded fine.

In that case, try exporting them as JPG to see if that fixes it. If you want to stay with PNG, you can remove the alpha channel using the built-in Preview app on macOS by unchecking the “Alpha” option during export.

thanks everyone for your responses!

i didn’t realized that someone else who also has access to the developer account had uploaded screenshots in the iPad section that had alpha channel issues. my whole gaze was on iPhone screenshots; those were the ones i uploaded myself.

apparently the failed iPad screenshots upload deterred the submission the whole time.

apple could do better w pointing specifically where an error is coming from btw :(
