Invitation problem

I was invited to join development team. so after receiving mail to my account I clicked accept invitation button in email. but the page of appstoreconnect shows that link is expired or invalid. however admin Is inviting me 2 min ago. how can I solve this problem? what should I do?

I am facing the same issue, did you find any solution?

Experiencing the exact same problem - tried deleting user add user again. Also tried with other email address - same issue - link shows its expired as soon as opened - tried in incognito safari / chrome. Not sure what more to do

I'm facing the same issue. I've also tried several accounts, but still getting "Your invitation has expired or is no longer valid." Already created a ticket at apple support.

Hi there, thank you for reporting this! We are aware of this issue and we are investigating. We'll keep this thread updated.

Thank you!

This has been driving me insane all afternoon. Glad it's not just me.

Hi everyone, I'm facing a persistent issue while trying to accept a TestFlight invitation as an External Tester. The workflow:

  1. The developer sends an invitation to my email address (which is also my primary Apple ID).
  2. I receive the email and click the "Accept" / "View in TestFlight" button.
  3. Instead of opening TestFlight or confirming the invite, I am redirected to a browser page with the following error: "Your invitation has expired or is no longer valid. To request another one, contact a member of the team to which you were invited."

I really hope this issue gets resolved soon, as it is very important for me to join the app testing right now. Thanks in advance for any help!

Hi there! Thank you again for reporting this issue! We believe this issue has now been resolved. If you're still seeing issues with accepting invites to App Store Connect, please file a Feedback Assistant ticket with screen recording of what you're seeing along with HAR logs, and we'll be happy to take a look.

Thank you!

I was seeing this issue earlier, but now the behavior has changed, and clicking the "Invite" link just spins forever in the browser. I've tried in multiple browsers (Chrome and Safari), have tried Incognito mode, have tried both signed in and not signed into the Apple ID, and have tried deleting the user and re-submitting the Invite link (multiple times).

No matter what I do, the link spins forever and the user can not accept the invite.

My colleagues are also facing the exact same issue. It looks like the browser after they click "Accept Invitation" takes them to https://appstoreconnect.apple.com/activation_ds?key=....

This page is just white with a spinning load icon. The browser network log shows that a GET call to https://appstoreconnect.apple.com/olympus/v1/termsOfService fails with a 401 error. See attached screenshot.

I'm experiencing this same thing but with accepting Testflight invites. These might be related

Having the same issue. Trying to invite my own email as a test and I run into the expired link error:

Same bug here - fresh invite, invited user gets the "Your Invitation has expired or is no longer valid" message. For a while, the invites were also showing 'No Apps' despite me selecting apps, but that issue seems to have disappeared.

I'm seeing this issue, too (HTTP 401) when trying to click on the "Accept Invitation" link.

I've filed a Feedback Assistant ticket #22586831 and have included HAR logs demonstrating the problem.

I tried again after a few hours and it worked.

Mine works now. I had to delete my invite and send a brand new one. Re-sending the invite on the old invite did NOT work. Leaving this here in case it may help someone else. Cheers

I'm still seeing the same error as before. My colleagues open the /activation_ds link and the page is just white with a spinner.

The browser log says [HTTP/1.1 401] GET https://appstoreconnect.apple.com/olympus/v1/termsOfService

and:

Failed to load https://appleid.cdn-apple.com/dist/createService.min.js. A ServiceWorker passed a promise to FetchEvent.respondWith() that resolved with non-Response value ‘undefined’.

I have opened a feedback assistant issue: 22588575

Issue still persists, I’ve filed a ticket (FB22576591)

Tried deleting and re-sending the invite, per @CalDevGames suggestion, and it still fails for me.

Here's a clue: it definitely has to do with the network or ISP you are using to connect.

I switched from my ISP to a tethered iPhone (not on WiFi) and the connection succeeded. Now, normally I would just think this was my ISP blocking the CDN -- however, a whole bunch of people on this thread all started reporting this issue at the same time. I'm not a network engineer, but my guess is that somehow some part of Apple's CDN network wound up on a blocklist somewhere, and some ISPs picked it up and others did not.

Happy to be corrected if someone has further insight, but for those still experiencing the problem -- try switching to a different network and see if you can get past the loading failure.

I also am having this issue. Tried different browsers, tried different ISPs, tried deleting the user and adding back after 15 minutes. Nothing has worked. User still gets a blank page when following the link.

This is just the latest in a long line of hurdles trying to get an app ready for the Apple app store. Some of my colleagues are able to accept the invite and for others they just get a spinner or a message saying the invite is expired, despite having only just invited them. I've also tried re-inviting and completely deleting and re-adding the user. Feels to me that the load balancing dishes out good servers to some and bad ones hosting a broken site to others.
