App Removed from store, though the most recent version approved/whitelisted for sale

Dear team, I am not sure what is going on, but our app has been just removed from sale, presumably by a bot or an automatic system.

More than a week ago our app was flagged as containing objectionable content and we had a grace period till April 28, 2026 to deal with the situation.

We sent the fixed version for review within 2-3 days, and it was waiting for review for more than a week until I contacted the Review team on the situation (I still don't have any answer from you on the ticket, by the way).

Yesterday (April 27th) after a 2-day review the version has been approved by the review team, but the warning and grace period were still there. We were more than concerned, so I again, replied to the warning message sent a follow up to the existing ticket.

Today we are waking up to the email that our app has been removed from sale.

The condition in the warning was to send a version with fixes and that it should be approved. What went wrong? Is it at our end or at yours?

What do we do?

We now guessed that we had to release the approved version to get back to sales. Which was somehow not very obvious. So at the end of the day the removal was automatic, because the version deleted from sale was listed in the warning itself.

Maybe the moderators will prefer not to publish this post since it can be considered resolved. However I prefer to add this comment to describe our experience in this situation.
