My iPhone doesn't sync events back to my computer made on the phone. Nor does my phone update events made on my computer to the phone.
I've tried to remove Calendars from iCloud on my iDevice (that's a whole other problem that doens't work well) and this doesn't solve the problem when removed and re-connected.
