10.13 beta 4 links

does all of these pkgs should be installed to mac 10.13 beta3 os?

and is there have install order requires when we install these pkgs?

Do you by any chance know the direct link for the initial App Store installer “Install macOS High Sierra.app” (or was it called “Install macOS 10.13 Beta?”) and can you post it please?

You don't really need the direct link to the full installer.

You just get the developer beta configuration utility from the developer downloads page. Once installed this opens the download page in the mac app store from which you then download the full installer and make a bootable usb.

Then you use the usb to install onto multiple macs without having to redownload each time.

The update files are a different story however. You need links to them so as to download just once to install onto multiple macs without having to download each time.

You can use them to update from beta 3 to beta 4.

I haven't tried updating an earlier beta to beta 4 directly, skipping intervening betas, so I don't know if that would work.

To use the packages:

1. Start update via mac app store. Stop the download after about 2 seconds.

2. Move packages into /Library/Updates/091-23859

3. Restart.

4. Go to updates tab in mac app store and click update. You will be prompted to restart again.

5. So restart and the update will then install immediately without downloading again.

I need a direct link to the first installer (that you get from the App Store) so I can download it from Recovery Mode, or an iPad, or non–Mac computer.. 😟

Trouble is that it isn't the app itself which the mac app store downloads.

The InstallAssistantAuto.pkg one then auto-installs and uses all the others to create the app in your Applications folder. So that needs to happen on a mac.

Alternatively you can run these packages in this order to create the app:

InstallAssistantAuto.pkg

InstallESDDmg.pkg

RecoveryHDMetaDmg.pkg

Right now my Mac is almost unusable after the Beta 4 update which I’m sure did not complete successfully.

It’s a 2017 27” 5K iMac with 24 GB of RAM and 1 TB Fusion Drive. After Beta 4, the APFS Fusion Drive is not able to write/retain any changes to the file system: No matter what I rename/delete/copy to the Fusion Drive, even in Recovery Mode, gets reverted after restarting or checking/repairing the disk.

I can log on normally but almost nothing works correctly for long, and the console gets swamped with "fs_tx_leave:15561: tx_leave failed: 5" messages. Trying to download from the Mac App Store apparently gets stuck at “Calculating...” without anything happening.

I tried posting a new topic about it but it seems to have been lost in the spam moderation limbo.

I downloaded the packages and tried installing from the above steps , after restart , still the upgrade is not working or not installed. Can u please suggest
