Don't see my ads when I search...

I don't see my ads when I search for relevant terms anymore, but I used to. I am still being billed so others must be able to see my ads, but no matter what terms I search I never see my ads. I see my competitors ads though. I have no demographic restrictions, my budget is not exhausted, my CPT bids are plenty high.

Anyone else experiencing this? can anyone explain why this might be happening?

I think Apple try to prevent a single user being spammed by the same ad over and over. If they haven't shown engagement (in whatever way Apple consider this to be relevant, and this is an unknown black box), they stop showing the ad. So they've stopped showing you your own ad as you've been searching on it too much! 😉

Also, if you have purchased your own app (which I do in order to get the same App Store download as my customers for post-release sanity testing - is the released version 'good'), and you haven't selected to remarket to existing customers, it could just be they've decided you aren't a valid target audience for your ads as you've already got the app and the ad configuration says not to advertise to that sort of user.

You can try looking at the App Store from another device, under another account, or signed out from your account and see if they show up then. At the end of the day I think you're just supposed to trust that if Apple says you have X impressions, Y taps, and Z conversions that you take them at their word. Other than checking it's working when you first set up Search Ads for an account, there shouldn't be a regular need to trigger the display of your own ads on your own devices.
