Guideline 4.3(b) appeal pending — how can we confirm the App Review Board received it?
Our app was rejected under Guideline 4.3(b) on August 1, 2026.
We replied through App Store Connect the same day and respectfully requested reconsideration of the rejection.
After sending that response, we did not receive any further communication. The submission was moved back to “Pending Review” on August 5 and has remained there since.
Because we were unsure whether the reconsideration request was being actively reviewed, we submitted a formal appeal to the App Review Board on August 10.
We have not received a confirmation email for that appeal or any further communication yet.
Is there a typical timeframe for App Review Board appeals under Guideline 4.3(b)?
More importantly, is there an official way to confirm that the formal appeal was successfully received and is currently in the queue?
We do not want to cancel the current submission, resubmit the build, or interfere with an active appeal. We are happy to wait if the appeal is already being reviewed; we mainly want to make sure that it was properly received and that no further action is required from us.
