I was trying to format a pen drive for Unibeast installation which requires a GUID Partition map. Normally to do it we could easilly do it through disk utility from the erase tab but the option is now missing. Is there a workaround for this ?

I'm having the same problem. I needed to update my car stereo and it requires a MBR parition scheme and was unable to locate the scheme section in Disk Utility for macOS 10.13 beta 4.
