iOS 27 + RecognizedText misses lines

I'm using the iOS 18+ RecognizedTextRequest, and with no change of code, iOS 27 gives poorer results:

  • lines are dropped, all the text is not recognized
  • it's not my code, because Live Text has the same issue
  • and of course, back to 26 or 18 solves the issue

What changed?

Only interesting infos I could isolate:

  • The simulator has not the issue
  • Squashing the image horizontally (80% of its width for example) makes the detection significantly better
