DriverKit USB Transport VendorID request still "Submitted" after 8 weeks

Hello,

On July 30, 2026 we submitted a DriverKit USB Transport - VendorID capability request for our iPadOS driver extension. The request ID is 83H9997N3G, team ID W33S637JJQ.

Eight weeks later it still shows "Submitted". Developer Support (case 20000135736763) told us a separate team handles these requests and will contact us. We have not heard from that team yet.

The driver works with development signing. Without the distribution entitlement we cannot upload a build to TestFlight.

Is there anything else we should provide, or a way to find out where the request is in the queue?

Thanks, Stepan

I'm not sure when you submitted your request, but approvals generally take a week or two, so please be patient. Beyond that, if you have any concerns or questions specific to your request, please file a code-level support request, and we can discuss the issue privately.

I'm experiencing a similar delay issue on a DriverKit USB Transport – VendorID entitlement request, though not as acute as this one (pending 3 weeks).

Request ID: 6996NN27MC Team ID: V8A85WYF9T Submitted: September 14, 2026

DriverKit Family MIDI is already assigned, but USB Transport – VendorID remains pending. Our DEXT is complete and physically validated under development signing on an M-series iPad. Distribution is the only remaining blocker.

Does your recommendation above apply to my request as well, or alternatively, is there another private channel for checking request 6996NN27MC?

Thank you.

Does your recommendation above apply to my request as well

Yes.
