Erratic battery on iOS 11, restore doesn't fix or help

Hello,

I am having an issue and trying to figure out what it could be.

I am running iOS 11 beta 5 on iPhone 6. Immediately after testing with beta, battery was an issue. I know this is common in the beta stages. However, the issue was so bad I tried to do a complete restore with the current restore image. Issue is persisting. Basically, when using the device the battery begins to dain, but even at 70 or 80%, it just shuts off all of a sudden. Then, after plugging it back in, it says it says it has around 12% or so. Sometimes on the restart it will have 70%+. I even tested with 10.3.3 and the issue has remained. I have reinstalled iOS 11 again but the problem with this new beta is just as bad. This device had NO issues with battery life prior to testing the betas. Everything sounds like the battery is going bad, but it seems very strange that it "just so" happened when I began testing the beta.

Thoughts? Ideas?

Much obliged...newer developer.

I've experienced the same thing (iPhone 6). Thought maybe it was a bad app but wiped the whole thing and started over. Unless it's an Apple stock app, that wasn't it.

For years, betas have routinely lacked release level power management, so what you're seeing is neither new nor unusual.

If this hampers your testing, best to avoid betas, I think.
