Hello Apple Developer Community,
I would like to ask for some guidance regarding an unusually long App Review waiting period.
Our app, WolfShort (Apple ID: 6769611304), was submitted for review on September 24, 2026.
As of today, October 8, 2026, the app has been in “Waiting for Review” status for 14 days without any status changes.
Due to the extended waiting period, we submitted an expedited review request on October 2, 2026, and received confirmation that the request was successfully submitted.
However, six days have passed since the expedited review request, and we have not received any updates or confirmation regarding its approval.
We also recently updated the primary email address associated with our Apple Developer account. Unfortunately, we no longer have access to the previous email address, so we are concerned that we may have missed important notifications.
We would sincerely appreciate any guidance regarding the following questions:
- Is it normal for an app to remain in “Waiting for Review” status for more than 14 days?
- How can we check whether our expedited review request has been reviewed or approved?
- Could changing the primary email address of our Apple Developer account affect the delivery of App Review notifications?
- Could the extended waiting period indicate that additional verification or documentation is required?
- Is there anything we can do to help move the review process forward, such as providing additional copyright authorization documents, app functionality explanations, or other supporting materials?
We have also contacted Apple Developer Support to inquire about the current review status and whether any additional information is needed.
We fully understand that App Review times may vary depending on the complexity of the application and the review team’s workload.
We respect Apple’s review process and are more than willing to cooperate with any additional requirements.
If anyone has experienced a similar situation or has suggestions on how to proceed, we would greatly appreciate your advice.
