iPhone Duo Simulator is missing the usual apps

Using Xcode 27.1 RC, the iPhone Duo simulator (Device Hub) only comes with the Settings and Safari apps.

Am I missing something? Are there plans to have the usual simulator apps such as Photos, Calendar, Reminders, Maps, etc.?

In these early stages it would be really nice to have some real apps to look at for examples of how some things should work/appear on the Duo in different layouts.

Yes, only Safari is available in the Duo simulator. My guess is Apple wants to keep some of UI details with system apps under wraps until the product is launched.

Does the Xcode 27.2 RC Device Hub Duo simulator include anything beyond Safari now?

@Bikrrr

I just installed Xcode 27.2 Beta 3 and I created an iPhone Duo 27.2 simulator. It is still just Settings and Safari. :(

Oops - I must have gotten 27.2 Beta 3 just a few hours before 27.2 RC came out. I need to do another download.

@Bikrrr I've created a new iPhone Duo with iOS 27.2 RC using Xcode 27.2 RC and it still has just Settings and Safari. Oh well.

Is this going to be fixed? I had also assumed this was temporary to hide system apps. But now it's this way in the Xcode 27.2 RC.

We are using PassKit APIs that simply don't work only on the Duo simulator. When tapping "Verify Identity with Apple Wallet" button, it just shows an alert:

Title: "Download "Wallet"?
Message: "To continue, download "Wallet" from App Store."
Buttons: [Show in App Store] [Cancel]

[Show in App Store] button just dismisses.
