Hello everyone,
I'm an independent developer preparing the first public iOS release of my app, Marque: Car Collection.
My initial submission was rejected under Guideline 5.1.2(i) because of an App Tracking Transparency (ATT) implementation issue.
I addressed the reported issue, updated the privacy consent flow and App Privacy disclosures, and uploaded a new build.
Current submission details:
- App: Marque: Car Collection
- Platform: iOS
- New binary: 1.1.0 (Build 24)
- Resubmission date: October 14, 2026
- Current status: Waiting for Review
- Time waiting: Approximately 4 days
The submission also includes two auto-renewable subscription products (monthly and annual), which are both waiting for review.
I have provided updated Review Notes explaining the ATT implementation and instructions for accessing the app's functionality.
There have been no additional messages from App Review since the resubmission.
I understand that review times can vary, especially for first-time releases and submissions requiring additional verification.
My questions:
- Is a four-day wait at the "Waiting for Review" stage relatively common for a first public release following a privacy-related rejection?
- Could the inclusion of new subscription products affect the review timeline?
- At what point would you recommend contacting App Review Support about the delay?
- Would cancelling and resubmitting be counterproductive in this situation?
I'm not looking to bypass the review process — I simply want to understand whether this is normal and whether any action is needed on my side.
Thank you for any advice or experiences you can share.
