I'd like to hear from anyone who has been in a similar situation recently.
My first iOS app was rejected under Guideline 2.1(b). I addressed the issues in the App Review notes and resubmitted it. Right after resubmitting, I requested an expedited review, and the confirmation page said the review would be expedited.
The app and its in-app purchase are still "Waiting for Review." There are no new messages in App Store Connect, and my follow-ups through Contact Us have received only automatic acknowledgements.
A few questions for anyone who has experienced this:
- How long did it take for your review to start after an expedite request was accepted?
- Did contacting Developer Support by phone help?
- Is there anything else worth doing while waiting, or is it best to simply wait?
