Is there a supported way in StoreKit 2 or the App Store Server API to tell whether a user purchased a paid app or downloaded it through Family Sharing? Transaction.ownershipType covers in-app purchases. Is there an equivalent for the paid app itself in AppTransaction?

there is no supported way in StoreKit 2 or the App Store Server API to determine whether a user purchased a paid app directly or downloaded it via Family Sharing.
However there is a way to check if is shareable with deprecated https://developer.apple.com/documentation/storekit/skproduct/isfamilyshareable
However there is an update with https://developer.apple.com/documentation/storekit/supporting-family-sharing-in-your-app
