Waiting for Review for 30 days despite an approved expedited review (case 102994810252) — is our submission correctly queued?

Hello,

I am a developer at Trippy, Inc. Our app "Oz Chat" (Apple ID: 6482977162) has been stuck in "Waiting for Review" and I would like to ask whether anyone else has experienced this, and whether the App Review team can confirm our submission is correctly queued.

Timeline:

  • Sep 24, 2026: Our submission of version 2.5.16 was rejected (Guidelines 2.3.7, 1.1, and 5.1.1(v)). We addressed all points.
  • Oct 5, 2026: We resubmitted version 2.5.16. An In-App Event was submitted together with it.
  • An expedited review request for this submission was approved by Apple Developer Support (case 102994810252), and we were told the review would begin shortly.
  • Oct 25, 2026: We sent a written follow-up asking for the status.
  • Nov 3, 2026: We sent another inquiry via the contact form.
  • Nov 4, 2026: Developer Support told us by phone that the review is "progressing normally," that reviews are backlogged overall, and that escalation is not possible.

As of today, November 4, the submission has been in "Waiting for Review" for 30 days and the review has not started. The In-App Event's scheduled period (ending Oct 31) has already passed while waiting. Including the rejection cycles, we have been unable to release a new version of this app for about five months, which is having a serious impact on our business.

We have verified on our side in App Store Connect that the submission is complete and simply awaiting review.

Could someone from the App Review team please confirm:

  1. That this submission is correctly placed in the review queue, and
  2. That the approved expedited review has actually been applied to it?

If any additional information is needed from us, we will provide it immediately. Thank you.
