Individual enrollment: payment fails, waiting for ID verification (Case 103017253287)

Hi,

I'm enrolling in the Apple Developer Program as an individual (Argentina). A third party is paying the membership fee on my behalf, so the card isn't in my name. Every order since October 30 has failed with "We're having a problem with your payment", and I placed a new order today.

The enrollment page says that if the payment information doesn't match the enrollment information, the enrollment will be delayed and I may be asked for a copy of a government-issued ID. I'm ready to provide it, but I haven't received any request or upload link yet.

I contacted Developer Program Support on November 2 (Case ID 103017253287) and also emailed devpayment@apple.com, but I haven't heard back, and my earlier orders are about to be canceled.

Could someone from Apple please help route this case so I can submit my ID and complete the payment? I'd also like the earlier failed orders canceled so I'm only charged once.

Thank you!

Hello,

Thank you for your post. It is important to note that account-specific matters fall outside what the forums are able to address. Developer forums are focused on software and accessory development questions. Please understand that we do not review individual account, or membership status questions for privacy reasons.

That said, generally speaking you should not be using third parties to pay for your membership. If they want to reiburse you after you have paid for yourself, that is between you and the third party. You may want to re-evaluate the way you are going about this. That said I would like to allow the developer support teams time to investigate your case.

Since it appears that you have already contacted Developer Support, please allow them some additional time to review and respond to your case. Thank you for your patience.

Best regards,

Developer Support
