"Can't connect to iTunes Store" error with Production In-App Purchase

In the TestFlight Sandbox, my in-app purchase process works without any issues and Apple approved my product for sale in the store. Now that it is live in the store, I can go through with the purchase, it adds the subscription to my list of subscriptions on my AppleID, but I get a "Can't connect to iTunes Store" error within the app which prevents the success handler from firing. Has anyone else ran into this issue that might be able to help find a fix?

I've created multiple sandbox test user accounts but they all get the same error. I also tried on consumable and non-consumable, but no success. My app got reject the first time because the review team were getting this error too. I had to remove my in app purchases to send a new release to the app store.


Have you made any progress?

1) check that they are marked 'cleared for sale'

2) check that you are not relying on the sandbix server to verify the receipt

3) check your contracts to be sure they are up to date and approved.
