Please add the ability to chose which specific days you would like a calendar event to be repeated on. It would make my life much simpler!!

Don't you have "Custom" at the bottom of the "Repeat" options?
I have:
Never
Every Day
Every Week
Every 2 Weeks
Every Month
Every Year
Custom
In the "Custom" option is the ability to choose "weekly" or "monthly" and then specify exactly which day(s) of the week or month to have the event repeat.
