My app status is still "Pending an Apple Release" even though iOS 11 was released three hours ago.
The app was reviewed and accepted 5 days ago, just a few days after Apple told developers to submit their iOS 11 apps.
Is this normal or should I submit a support ticket?
Normal for the backend to need time while info on new levers pulled is propagated across all related servers. Be patient 😉
Same for me too. This is my first app submission so I can't say if it's historically normal, but I can say that you aren't the only one encountering this.

If you want to go back to the end of the queue, feel free to resubmit. I think you'd be best served by being patient, tho, since you're already in line.

My update (version 1.0.1) for an iOS 11 only app just enter "Pending an Apple Release", so weird...
MIne just did the same thing. Glad I’m not alone. Hope it’s a problem on their end. Not sure hoe to get it resolved.
