So what exactly is real money gaming? We are planning to game where there will be free options to play the game, but we will also have competitions in the game which will require an entry fee for participants. Furthermore, power ups will be for sale within the game for a price. The catch is that we're planning to pay a cash prize to the winner of the game, and the size of that prize will be a percentage of the entry fees collected and in game power ups sold during the competition.
Furthremore, to clarify, this will very clearly be a game of skill. It's not a card/casino game, and will not resemble card/casino games in the slightest. So there is absolutely no way that this could be construed as gambling since it will not be a game of chance.
Before we spend well in the 5 figures developing this, I need some more clarification whether this would be considered "real money gaming" by Apple.
