iOS marketing icon not detected

Hello,

We included the iOS Marketing Icon (1024x1024) non transparent PNG into XCode in the Asset Catalog (verified via Contents.json) but we continously get the the following error when uploading to iTunes Connect:

WARNING ITMS-90704: "Missing Marketing Icon. iOS Apps must include a 1024x1024px Marketing Icon in PNG format. Apps that do not include the Marketing Icon cannot be submitted for App Review or Beta App Review."

Environment: Mac OS High Sierra (latest version), XCode 9.0 (and 9.0.1)

Thank you,

Steve

How did you create it?

Which asset catalog did you put it in? Bule or yellow icon? Is it shown by name when you look at that catalog?

Did you confirm it is enabled in Build Phases/Compile Sources?

What did you name it?

My somewhat older app project, with the most recent app submission being summer 2017, has hit the wall on this issue. I have done everything suggested, making sure of exactly 1024x1024, no alpha. It's added to the project. The Images.xcassets/AppIcon.appiconset/Contents.json file includes the necessary entry, below. And yet all attempts at uploading the project result in the same warning (as the original post in this thread). At this point, we're dead in the water.

Is there a way to get more verbose information from the upload process? Thank you in advance.
