iOS 11.1 beta 5 install fails

After the OTA download and preparation process my iPhone 7 Plus restarts to install, Apple logo comes on for a few seconds, phone restarts, Apple logo comes back and does a normal start up skipping the install. Screen displays your iOS has been upgraded to iOS 11.1. However phone still gives build number for ios 11.1 beta 4, and still has beta 5 prompt in softwear update screen.

Getting the same result on iPad Pro. Any success getting around this issue?

Same here. 6s and ipad mini4

iphone 7, from 11.0.3 to 11.1 beta 5 and happens the same

Took the advice on an adjacent post and removed, re-downloaded from dev site then re-added the beta profile and both devices installed the update correctly.

After trying all day the install finally took. No specific action was done to get the install to take. I am going to assume Apple fixed the install issue.

Same here. What worked for me was deleting the ‘prepared’ install bits, from the iPhone Storage settings after the install failed a couple of times, then re-downloading. The subsequent attempt to download completed, “prepared”, and “verified”, and successfully updated the phone (iPhone 7). [For the curious, I have a 128GB iPhone 7, which has about 60GB free. Ample space for the OS to download the update bits, expand them, and do what it needed to do to effect an install without offloading apps or other data to introduce confounding variables to the process.]
