Getting this error when uploading to App Store "ERROR ITMS-90534: "Invalid Toolchain. New apps and app updates must be built with the public (GM) versions of Xcode 6 or later, macOS, and iOS SDK or later. Don't submit apps built with beta software including beta macOS builds."


I am running the GM 9.1 version of Xcode which was downloaded through the App Store. Not sure what's going on

It is so common as to be a like clockwork benchmark that a new Xcode, in this case v9.1 (10.31.17), hasn't been whitelisted by the backend for submittal, in sync w/it's release into the wild. Sort of a left/right hand thing, apparently.


Give it a day, then try again.

Works now. Apple must have fixed it.
