Allows me to call galaxy S8 but does not ring on S8 side. When S8 phone calls me I am able to answer and stays connected on my end with dead air but automatically disconnects S8 phone from connection.
Tested calling other phones such as galaxy S7, iphone 7 and a few other android phones which all work correctly

I am having the same exact issue on my iPhone 8 Plus and now on my iPhone X. So far I can’t seem to find a solution to this. How can we escalate this?
By any chance are you using Wifi calling on both devices? If so, have you tried disabling it and seeing whether this issue persists?
I ask because this sounds more like a carrier error.
No, I am not using WiFi calling I never do. This is happening when I call my son who has an S8, and my brother in another state who also has an S8.
I was seeing the same issue, what I found to work for the time being was on your iPhone to go to Settings > Cellular > Cellular Data Options > Enable LTE > and change to Data Only. This means when you make a phone call you must be on wifi but it will indeed result in a successful call to the S8. Currently, Samsung is aware of this issue where any iOS device that is on 11.2 (beta version) can not successfully call their S8 devices.
Not sure if the issue is with iPhones HD voice or solely an issue with Samsung. Afterall, it is beta.
Thank you so much this actually fixes it but you don’t have to use WiFi calling just make sure to change to Data only.
