Hi Team,
We are trying to create an App in the iTunes Connect accoutn for the first time. After filling the General Details, when continue is clicked, it is giving us error "The App Name you entered has already used". But when we checked in AppStore, there is no such app by that name.
And we want to upload the app in the same name and dont want to change the name.
Kindly help asap.

Developers can ”reserve” names by creating an app with a specific name in the developer control panel but not publish it yet. Sorry, but I don’t think there is a way for you to obtain the name unless you send apple an email.
The app name could also be for an app under development, temporarily removed from sale by the developer, or for an app only available in another country's App store.
If so, you will likely need to use another app name (unless you can get Apple to enforce a legal registered trademark action or somesuch). Note that Apple has previously allowed the use of app names that differ by only on character (space or punctuation) from an existing app. But YMMV.
