I am considering using an external tool to create mockups of screens while planning an app. I need it for app design, not for app store screenshots. I was wondering what people are using and if you have any recommendation. I am a freelancer so very expensive solutions are probably out of reach for me.

I probably miss something. Why not use IB directly ?
Do you need dynamic mock up ? Or is IB lacking some capabilities ?
Personnaly, I do hand sketch to start and then IB to refine.
