App Review team taking joke about me

Hello all.

We have an app that did not pass the reviews phase for 4 times due to typo errors or inversion mistales of the review team.

To start this app a login with three parameters is required: email, customer id and password.

This is well explained, as follows, in the app instruction for the test team:

----------------------------------

Please use this user data:

Username: ******@********.***

Customer code: *****

password *********

--------------------------------

These instructions have been sent twice in answers to app rejceted messages. But it seem that nobody is reading these instruction.

Last error was that the email was typed with an extra space before and the error message in the app was "please check email address".

The previoous error was that they were swapping customer code and password despite of in my previous email I had clearly explain the process:

"I've double checked and with email ******@*****.** and customer id XYZ I'm able to go to the next step where using the password ********** I'm able to login.

Can you please try again?"

What have I to do?

We started the request more than a week ago!

I've even called Apple: I talked with two different person in Ireland but they have no access to our app and they can only open a ticket in their internal ticketing tool and there is no feedback to me.

What can i do?

Regards,

Roberto

What was the rejection message exactly?

I think App reviewer these days got some messages from middle management but misinterpreted what they say and are flagging developers for random reasons.

So if your app gets rejected the first time, they delay your review by 1 day, if two times they delay by 5 days to a week and so on.

And they randomly flag people's account for removal as well from what i heard from other ********* forums. The team seem to be making a lot of false alerts / false flagging. Well at the end of they day their team do manual processes and are bound to make mistakes.

But what I'm most concerned are there are some incompetent / corrupted app reviewers rejecting apps and banning developer accounts for fun or maybe even if those apps might have conflict of interested with their own apps hosted in some family or friend's account.

5.1.1 (ii) If your app doesn’t include significant account-based features, let people use it without a log-in. Apps may not require users to enter personal information to function, except when directly relevant to the core functionality of the app or required by law.
