10.13.4 - the Apple menu icons are dark in dark mode which means you can't see them since they don't turn white. Is anyone else seeing this?
Apple Menu icons dark in dark mode
Yep same here. I thought my computer was still "loading" from start up until I changed it to white then I saw everything.
Same here. Transparency doesn't seem to working correctly either for the OSD for volume/brightness. Glad to know I'm not the only one
WELL the dark mode is still not working. I can't believe Apple would damage something so simple and not fix it right away!!! Very disappointing! I know it's beta - I work for a software company - but you don't break the staple items and ignore it!!
Dark Mode's awesome here, no issues; did you upgrade directly from the last beta of 10.13.3 to the first beta of 10.13.4 or (like I did) from the last beta of 10.13.3 to GA of 10.13.3 and then on to the first beta of 10.13.4?
I upgraded from the released version of 10.13.3 to the first beta of 10.13.4. And if you notice, there are many that are having the same issue on the forums. You just lucked out.
Well I restarted in safe mode and the white icons came back. I've spent a couple of hours trying to find what is causing the issue but I haven't found it yet. I've uninstalled all 3rd party software and removed all startup items.
This was fixed for me with the latest update.
What computer model do you have?
MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Late 2013)
