Bricked iPad Air iOS 11.3 Beta 2 (update)

I was in the middle of updating my iPad Air to ios 11.3 beta 2 and I speculate (not certain) that it died mid update and now it won't turn back on. i Have tried the old Power Button and Home button and then plugging it into iTunes and doing the same and at the moment am restoring to a iOS 11.3 beta 1 ipsw, however that seems not to be working as well. Any help would be appreciated, Thank you.🙂

I just had the exact same thing happen to me. Completely dead and I can’t even get a flicker of power, despite being plugged in & fully charged. Any ideas for fixes would be greatly appreciated.

Same here. While no any problems with update to 11.3 beta 2 on my iPhone 5s, iPad Air now is bricked

Solved for me.

Restored with iTunes on another computer (with non beta Mac OS and iTunes)

Same thing happened to me. When attempting to Restore via iTunes on Mac OS, the Apple Logo displays on the iPad but then iTunes notifies me it "Could not connect to device," followed by, "The iPad could not be restored. An unknown error occured (9)."

I also would appreciate any other suggestions ? Thanks!

Haven't tried to connect my iPad Air with a computer since to doesn't open, no matter what. Will the computer recognize the tablet?

Same problem: bricked Ipad Mini 2. I notice the update started before "agreeing to terms." After bricked, hooked up to PC running latest iTunes and the software recognized the iPad mini, but said it needed to "restore." I let it restore, but was unable to use latest update in iTunes with all my data from the computer that I had done in January 2018 because it said the software was "too old" -- no way to restore data from there, and iCloud doesn't allow data from aps like Marvin (book ap) to be stored in the cloud (hundreds of books). Typical Apple circle of misary. I don't want to restore to the new beta (the "new" software), so I set up the iPad as "new" using the standard 11.2.5 -- again unable to restore data because of "old software." I guess if I wanted to rejoin th beta program, there would be a way to restore to iOS 11.3.1, but I'm done with it.

Good luck, all.

Similar issue for me. iPad Air 2 will not get past Apple logo during 11.3 beta 2 update from both OTA and manual restore using IPSW. The device has to be wiped, restored to an official release, backup restored from iCloud backup to function again. Tried this multiple times. Event tried a clean install of released OS and then update without restoring from iCloud and still would not work. Trying 11.3 beta 3 now, crossing my fingers.
