Why do I see it in App Store but absolutely not mentioned anywhere else?
10.13.5 dev β1
Same here. Software Update wants to install it but there are no release notes listed yet at developer.apple.com/download so I'm holding off.
Same here, found out about update from mac rumours web site.
I accidentially installed 10.13.5 dev β1 on 5K iMac + LG 4K... Seems a little quicker? Adobe CC, Office 365 all work flawless so far. I didn't go exploring for "new" features yet.
Why isn’t it available on the Downloads page?
How were you able to download it? Help us out here.. 😕
It was in App Store...
Same for me with the same setup. It was in the app store updates area.
Maybe it wasn't supposed to be released yet and the App Store team doesn't talk to the Dev Web team?
Not showing up in my App store. Probably need to reinstall the Beta Access Utility but its not available on the Download page. Ugh!
Release notes and Beta Access Utility are now available on the Download page:
I has two issues on a Mac Pro (trash can). First Photos wants to re upload everything, 41,500 all photos! My Photos System Library is located on an external 12 TB RAID.
Secondly Steam seems to have issues seeing inside a 12 TB RAID now where the steam library is located not sure on that one yet, it sees two versions of my RAID, one with few folders in it the second itteration is appended with a number 1 to the volume name and it sees all that's in there. There is only one volume so it is seeing containers I think. This is an HFS+ volume not APFS as the boot volume is.
Steam is 32 bit still so I am not sure if the latest beta is not liking 32 bit applications but nothing serious for me. Photos is a big deal though, it's bad enough Aperture isn't updated for the latest Camera RAW data. I am going to down grade to the previous beta, chck all is well and upgrdade again. I noticed Photos kept returning to the Let's get started / updating page on every start too, so must be related. I also wonder if this is also an issue in Photos.
I have tried bothe Apple RAID and SoftRAID drivers, no difference.
