App guidelines around adult content

I currently run an online directory which lists stores, services of an adult nature. An overwhelming number of users have asked if we could provide a native app which primarily just encases the search functionality of the site. i.e. enter location and listing type and up pops all relevant listings. Given Apples review process includes sections relating to adult content, is there any way I can run the app idea past an App store reviewer to gain a clearer understanding of whether the app would qualify for the app store before having a development team embark on the project? Although the directory contains themes of an adult nature, all directory listing images are vetted by our team to ensure no graphic nudity/scenes etc are present before approving them as active.

There are no pre-reviews, if that's the question - App Review isn't here. You'll need to run it thru a routine review, same as the rest of us.

Good luck.

I think you may also risk rejection for the app being just a repackaging of your web site. Apple usually considers those types of apps to be too simple for the App Store. But as KMT says, nobody here can say for sure.
